- Am I? My modem (from Computability) had a PNP sticker on it and OLD
- ROMs. USR Sales said, when I asked for someone else buying a Vi that
- didn't want to get stuck ordering an upgrade immediately, that the new
- ROMs can be determined by the V.34+ sticker. The ones in Best Buy here
- all have it now. Maybe yours was in a unique batch. Anyhow, make sure
- you get the 33.6K ROMs (10/13/95 date code).

-
- That's exactly what I said. The new ROMs can be inside the modem when
- you buy it.
-
- Glad your PNP worked. AS you can read from other posts here, others
- have not been so lucky. Myself, I'm not running 95 so it is a future
- problem if it is one at all.
